PoPy-ND poster at PAGE
Wright Dose Ltd were delighted to present their new software, PoPy for PK/PD v1.0.5, at the 2021 conference of the Population Approach Group Europe (PAGE).Using 200 simulated populations of 50 subjects for two different PKPD models (Two Compartment with Absorption PK Model; Joint PK/PD with BLQ on PD), we showed that our PoPy-ND fitting method, combining elements of FOCEI and BOBYQA optimisation algorithm, recovers population parameters better than Nonmem's FOCEI. We also cross-verify the superiority of PoPy’s fit by checking the objective function of PoPy’s solution in Nonmem.
